Ukraine

In mid-2005, Elme Messer Ukraine assumed from the state a majority share in the present-day Kharkovski Autogeni Plant in Kharkov. Kharkovski Autogeni Plant operates air separation units and filling plants, and in addition supplies the Kharkov region with oxygen and nitrogen in cylinders and in liquid form.

The Kharkov region, located in the north-eastern part of the country, is an industrial center for the construction of heavy machinery (nuclear industry, turbine construction, mining equipment, tractors) and it is also the center of the Ukrainian aviation industry. The Dnepropetrovsk and Donetsk regions are located between 200 and 300 kilometers away from here, these regions are the center of Ukrainian heavy industry (steel, mining, chemicals and refineries).The objectives of Messer Group activities in the Ukraine are to build up a sales network and offer its entire range of products throughout the country, including its expertise in gases and application technologies.

Since 2007 Elme Messer Ukraine supplies its customers with liquid carbon dioxide in Kiev and Lvov.
Elme Messer Ukraine, based in Kharkov, was founded in 2004. The company is a full subsidiary of Elme Messer Gaas A.S. of Estonia.
